Hello!! I’m Jordynne Harris and I’m gonna tell you a little bit about me and what my next year will look like!
I’m eighteen years old, from Friendswood, Texas, and just graduated from high school. I love to dance until I can’t feel my legs, when butterflies flutter right by my face, listening to music, chasing sunsets, having deep and tough conversations, and Jesus! I love finding joy in the simple, beautiful things in life and want to experience anything and everything.
I had a calling on my life a few years ago to do something in the mission field and went to Malawi with my sister and mom, which was a bitter, sweet, long, short, great, and extremely difficult trip. Throughout high school, my dream was to go to Vanderbilt University, to study biomedical engineering, and hopefully study abroad one year, which would fulfill my desire to travel. But God had a very different plan.
Long story short, God turned me in a complete 180 and pointed me toward WR Semesters! I’ll be launching in September of this year to go explore and share the good news with those in South Africa, eSwatini, and Lesotho. I have never felt more peace about something in my life, and I am so excited to be filled up by God’s spirit and discover more about the heart of God, my heart, and the endless fountain of love that God has for us. I am so thankful that these doors are being swung open for me and I’m ecstatic for this year ahead!
This is where I’ll be posting some of the ways God is moving in my life and lives around me and all the crazy things going through my head with whoever is willing and eager to listen. Thank you for sticking around and joining me in this crazy fun journey!
Jordynne,
Your future is bright. What a great story you will write as you walk with Jesus and make a difference in your world. I look forward to watching you grow and go.
